How we build / 04

Every featureearns its space.

We decide what a feature needs to do before deciding how it should look. Four rules govern each release.

01

Start with the problem.

We name the problem before choosing a feature. After release, a person should be able to tell what changed.

02

Keep the main path simple.

Optional detail belongs where it helps. The everyday route should be easy to follow.

03

Release with evidence.

Each release needs an owner, an accessibility check, a rollback plan and a readable note.

04

Plan for the edges.

Billing, privacy, errors, cancellation and incidents belong in the plan. Give them the same care as the feature.

Work log / 05

Product decisions,recorded.

Each entry records a choice, the reason behind it and the change made in the product.

Why Planscope limits active tasks

Planscope keeps the active list short. You can see the choices, pick the next one and clear space for the rest.

DecisionKeep the active field small.
ReasonSeven items can be scanned without hiding the shape of the list.
ResultSeven active things stay visible.
How the record works

New entries are published when a decision changes the product. Each one records the choice, the reason and the result.

Company standards / 06

The standards behindthe products.

Working standards govern releases and live services. Product rules govern the interfaces, data and choices inside each product.

01 / company standard Product rule

Privacy

Collect only what a product needs. Explain the purpose, retention period and deletion route before sign-up, then update the policy when the product changes.

Applies to / every product that stores personal data
Everyday Arc / closing principle

Made to beput down.

A release should leave a person with less to manage. When the work is done, the tool can close and the day can continue.
